2026 CREOG Workshops for Residents

The planning committee and CREOG staff invite residents to register for the 2026 CREOG Workshops for Residents: Preparing to Be Teachers and Leaders, which will take place this spring.

Purpose

These workshops will equip obstetrics and gynecology residents with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve as leaders and exemplary teachers for junior residents and medical students. The meetings will feature experienced and knowledgeable faculty who will address multiple fundamental and critically important topics, introduce participants to general principles of leadership and education, and provide specific tips for immediate practice and application.

Intended Participation

The curriculum is designed for obstetrics and gynecology residents who will be directly responsible for administration and teaching. Administrative responsibilities may include scheduling, coaching, team leadership, and serving as a liaison between the faculty and other residents.

Workshop Dates and Pricing

The workshops will begin at 8 a.m. local time on Saturday and end by 3 p.m. local time on Sunday. Residents will only register for one of these three workshops. 

The registration fee is $450 per resident.  Registration will open on November 14, 2025 at 12 p.m. ET. If you have any questions regarding registration, please contact [email protected].

The hotel room block is available on a first-come, first-served, space available basis. The room block closes 4 weeks prior to each event. If the room block has closed or has sold out, you may need to book a room at the regular rate or at a nearby hotel. We do not give refunds if the room block is sold out.

Registration for each workshop closes one week before the event or until it is sold out. Onsite registration is not available.

Chicago Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be emailed to [email protected] on or prior to March 13, 2026. No refund will be issued after this date. A 25% administrative fee will be charged for all cancellations.

Philadelphia Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be emailed to [email protected] on or prior to May 1, 2026. No refund will be issued after this date. A 25% administrative fee will be charged for all cancellations.
