Phoenix Children's has an opening for a first-year fellow in pediatric and adolescent gynecology beginning in August 2026. Phoenix Children’s is one of the largest children's hospitals in the country and provides pediatric specialty and sub-specialty inpatient, outpatient, trauma, emergency and urgent care to children and families in Arizona and throughout the Southwest. The fellowship prepares physicians for a career in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. The goals and objectives are achieved through direct patient care, supervision of residents and medical students, and a comprehensive curriculum that includes conferences, didactic lectures, and journal clubs. Fellows participate in multidisciplinary clinics (MDC) including the vulvar dermatology MDC, the hematology/gynecology MDC, and the differences of reproductive development MDC. Fellows gain experience in pediatric subspecialties such as pediatric surgery, urology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, psychology, and child abuse. There are also opportunities to get advanced degrees during fellowship training such as an MPH or a Master of Clinical Research. This is a two-year program.

The Baylor College of Medicine - Houston, TX

The Baylor College of Medicine OBGYN Hospitalist Fellowship is recruiting for the 2026–2028 academic year. This two-year fellowship provides advanced training in hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology, with an emphasis on high-risk obstetrics, patient safety, and the management of obstetric and gynecologic emergencies. The program is designed for physicians seeking to develop the skills needed to become leaders in hospital medicine.

Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Fellowship Program at Dell Medical School - Austin, TX 

Dell Medical School is seeking a candidate for a 2-year PAG fellowship starting in August 2026.

The Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology fellowship program at Dell Medical school aims to train fellows who will be fully equipped to independently provide care as pediatric and adolescent gynecologists and act as consultants to pediatric surgeons, family practice providers, and general pediatricians. Fellows will learn to advocate and lead within the department and the surrounding community, while promoting an inclusive and safe environment where all patients, learners, faculty, and staff have an opportunity to thrive and be heard. Graduates will be eligible to obtain an American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) focused-practice designation.

Fellows will be trained to:

  • Manage common and uncommon conditions affecting the pediatric and adolescent gynecology population
  • Apply surgical techniques to effectively treat children and adolescents with acquired and congenital gynecologic concerns
  • Produce and disseminate a scholarly project that can be published or presented at a national meeting
  • Educate pediatric and adolescent gynecology learners, including residents, students and faculty
  • Serve the pediatric and adolescent population as both a physician and an advocate

This two-year fellowship includes rotations in general pediatric and adolescent gynecology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, pediatric surgery, child advocacy, minimally invasive gynecology in children, pediatric urology and dedicated time for research. Multidisciplinary clinics allow opportunities to work with pediatric endocrinology, genetics and pediatric hematology.

UC Irvine OB/GYN Hospitalist Fellowship Program, Irvine, California

This fellowship, the first in the country to offer an interdepartmental hospital-based curriculum, is designed to provide high-quality, advanced education in hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology focused on maximizing patient safety. It provides a strong blend of clinical, surgical and healthcare systems training in both academic and community-based hospital settings.

Our fellowship offers two tailored training pathways:

  • One-Year Track: Designed for physicians interested in gaining skills to excel in hospital medicine.
  • <li">Two-Year Track: Designed for physicians interested in leadership roles in their field. Fellows in this track graduate with a Master’s in Applied Science in Patient Safety and Quality. </li">

Requirements: Candidate must have completed an accredited four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. A graduate of a foreign medical school must have a standard ECFMG certificate and completed postgraduate training in the United States. Fellows will be required to have a California license, in addition to being ABOG Board Eligible or Board Certified.

Responsibilities will include providing patient care, teaching clinical programs, performing University and public service, and demonstrating professional competency and activity. Fellows will rotate through a high-risk labor and delivery unit and consult in the emergency room and other units at the university hospital. They will also have significant exposure to a community-based private practice population.

MFM Fellowship Program at the University of Arizona – Tucson, AZ

Clinical Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Immunology, Chicago Medical School - Rosalind Franklin University

The Reproductive Medicine and Immunology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Clinical Sciences Department, Chicago Medical School, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science is offering a two-year fellow position for the Reproductive Medicine and Immunology Fellowship Program. The 24-month clinical training rotation will offer a graduating OB/GYN resident or junior faculty member in the Department of OB/GYN an opportunity to become a nationally recognized expert in the management of women with early pregnancy loss, recurrent pregnancy losses, implantation failures, pregnancy with auto-/allo-immune conditions and rheumatic diseases. The fellowship will also provide extensive experience with gynecological and obstetrical ultrasound imaging. In addition, the fellow will work with clinical laboratory immunology faculties and learn about various immunological assays. Rotations with other specialties are available, including reproductive endocrinology and infertility, maternal fetal medicine, minimally invasive surgery, and rheumatology. Through the Clinical Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Immunology, Chicago Medical School aims to train and develop physician-scientists, by providing them with the knowledge and clinical expertise to care for this growing population of women and to serve as educators and program directors in the replication of this program at other academic centers around the country. This is a non-accredited fellowship.

The position of clinical fellow entails provision of patient care matching with the individual physician's level of advancement and competence. A clinical fellow's responsibilities include patient care activities within the scope of their clinical privileges commensurate with the level of training, completion of a research project to further the field of reproductive immunology, attendance of clinical rounds, seminars and conferences, timely completion of medical records, and other responsibilities as assigned or as required of all members of the medical staff.

Required education and experience includes:

Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center - Jackson, MS

The Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center is seeking to fill a PGY-5 fellowship position for a start date of July 1, 2026.

The mission of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center is to train the next generation of leaders in our field by demonstrating excellence in patient care, research, and education.

Furthermore, fellows will be active participants in the education of other members of the healthcare team and the public by participating in symposia, conferences, and other innovative learning opportunities.

Fellows will develop high-level research skills in the field of maternal-fetal medicine. This encompasses full participation in each stage of the research process - hypothesis formulation, research strategic planning and experimental design, results interpretation, and preparation for presentation/publication. It is expected that each fellow will complete and defend a research thesis by the end of their three years of training.

Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Fellowship - University of Alabama Birmingham

Objectives:

1. To develop comprehensive medical knowledge in the field of pediatric and adolescent gynecology
2. To develop competency of surgical skills needed for patients with complex genital anomalies
3. To develop and conduct research in pediatric and adolescent gynecology

The fellowship is a two year position held within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Time allocation is 70% for clinical duties and 30% for research. The fellow’s clinical duties include staffing pediatric and adolescent gynecology clinics, independent women's OBGYN clinic for 1 half day, and various pediatric rotations detailed below. Rotations are located at The Women and Infant’s Center of UAB and The Children’s Hospital of Alabama. In addition, fellows have protected educational time in the form of weekly didactic conferences and department wide lecture series. Additional time is made available for fellows to participate in the postgraduate research design courses offered at UAB. All fellows are expected to participate in resident educational lecture series and complete a novel research project upon graduation. Call is currently 1 night monthly, in-house, and any additional accrued is reimbursed monetarily in addition to the fellowship stipend.

To develop your understanding of this patient population you will complete rotations in endocrinology, pediatric surgery, pediatric urology, dermatology, adolescent medicine, disordered eating, and multidisciplinary clinics specializing in transgender medicine, polycystic ovarian syndrome, Turner's syndrome, bleeding disorders, and child abuse. These rotations will help develop your fund of knowledge in counseling and management of contraceptive options for the medically complex child, oncofertility, menstrual cycle irregularities, vaginal and vulvar dermatoses, and benign disorders of the genital tract and ovaries. The goal of the fellowship is produce a proficient surgical and medical expert in the field of pediatric and adolescent gynecology whom can achieve a Focused Practice Designation in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.

Emory University, Lower Anogenital Screening & Treatment Fellowship – Atlanta, Georgia

The Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Division of Gynecologic Oncology is seeking applicants for a 1-year fellowship in Lower Anogenital Screening & Treatment. The fellowship begins on August 1 of each academic year.

This program is designed to provide in-depth training to obstetrician-gynecologists in colposcopy and anoscopy techniques for female and male patients. Fellows will be trained in colposcopy and high-resolution anoscopy by experienced, credentialed faculty. Fellows will develop skills in the evaluation and treatment of cervical and anal dysplasia, as well as other complex conditions affecting the lower female genital tract.

The fellow will have an appointment at the Associate level, will receive clinical and surgical training, and will provide inpatient (including Labor and Delivery) and outpatient services. The fellow will participate in patient care at Emory University Hospitals, Clinics, Grady Memorial Hospital, and other affiliated sites. Fellows will attend didactics and weekly Grand Rounds, and they will actively participate in teaching residents and medical students.

The fellow is expected to be engaged in their own active research project, which will culminate in a presentation during the Department’s Resident and Fellow Research Day at the end of the year. Twenty percent of the fellowship will be dedicated to research time with ample opportunity for mentorship. The fellow will also have access to a team of researchers and a statistician to assist with their research project. If interested, the fellow can enroll in public health courses at the Rollins School of Public Health as part of the fellowship.

The fellow will have the opportunity to be involved in international outreach and education around cervical cancer in Latin America. Specifically, they will be engaged in a cervical cancer screening program in a rural setting in Latin America early in the fellowship, followed by anal cancer screening program via high resolution anoscopy in the Caribbean or Latin American. The fellow will be expected to attend the High Resolution Anoscopy Course in order to become HRA certified. The fellow will be able to present at several meetings including ASCCP, International Anal Neoplasia Society (IANS), International Papillomavirus Conference, ACOG, and/or SGO. Finally, the fellow will have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials, specifically the Anal Cancer/HSIL Outcomes Research (ANCHOR), Women’s Interagency HIV Study (WIHS), and Multicenter AIDS Cohort Study (MACS) protocols.

Baylor College of Medicine’s Global Women’s Health Fellowship – Houston, TX

The Baylor College of Medicine’s Global Women’s Health Fellowship is now accepting applications for an August 2026 start date. Applications will be accepted until the positions is filled.

The Global Women’s Health Fellowship is designed as a two-year post-US Ob/Gyn residency full-spectrum fellowship, which aims to provides high quality patient care to women worldwide along with country-focused research programs and superior educational opportunities for health care providers in a low-resource setting.

GWH fellows will work and learn in diverse healthcare settings with our partners in Lilongwe, Malawi at Kamuzu Central Hospital, Area 25 Health Centre, and at the Fistula Care Centre within Bwaila District Hospital, spending 80-90% of the fellowship in Malawi. Fellows receive training and experience in clinical care, medical education of residents, and research.

The first year of training also includes an optional Houston-based training in research design and statistical analysis, as well as the option to complete a Diploma in Tropical Medicine through a 12-week hybrid curriculum at the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College. The Hospital Obstetric Medicine and Surgery Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is a two-year training program for obstetrics and gynecology physicians who desire to pursue a career track in academic hospital obstetric medicine and surgery. The goal of the fellowship is to train fellows who will assume leadership roles in safety and quality, ensure best practices and protocols are followed, and lead a multidisciplinary team in the management of inpatient obstetric patients. In addition to clinical work, all fellows complete master's degree program offered jointly by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Denver Health OB/Gyn Hospitalist Fellowship

Training Future Leaders in OB-GYN Hospitalists

Denver Health is a large safety-net hospital for the city of Denver performing over 4,200 deliveries in the past year. Denver Health is a main teaching affiliate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and has residents and students rotating throughout the institution. The department of OB-GYN has 13 University of Colorado residents rotating at Denver Health at any one time.

Denver Health has seen significant clinical growth in the past two years related to the influx of population of the city of Denver. The department of OB-GYN is wholly dedicated to providing quality care to all patients who walk in the door of Denver Health. Patients served by the OB-GYN department speak over 23 different languages, most commonly Spanish and English. The department prides itself on its collaborative care model with a focus on patient safety and standardization of care, making it an ideal training site for OB-GYN hospitalists.

The primary goal of the fellowship is to train future leaders in OB-GYN hospitalist medicine. Secondary goals include:

  • To supplement the training of an OB-GYN with the systems level leadership of an OB-GYN hospitalist.
  • To gain expertise as team leader during Ob and Gyn emergencies.
  • To better understand the role of an OB-GYN hospitalist in creating health care equity.
  • To gain experience in implementation of QI standards, protocols, and patient safety initiatives.
  • To learn about practicing in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team model
  • Graduates of the fellowship will be prepared to work at high- or low-resourced institutions as a confident and competent OB-GYN hospitalist.

Fellowship leadership and many of the faculty are active in the Society of OB-GYN Hospitalists (SOGH) and are involved with the nationwide plan for fellowship accreditation. Interview season is conducted in coordination with other fellowship around the country.

The fellowship is a one-year program with a planned start date of August 1 each year. The fellow will participate in clinical activities on labor and delivery, gynecologic service, obstetrical emergency department, gyn consultation, antepartum, and ultrasound, as well as having dedicated research and elective time. The fellow will participate in regularly scheduled department didactics as well as have dedicated didactic time related to OB-GYN hospitalist core competencies.

University of Utah, Women's Health Equity Fellowship

The University of Utah Women's Health Equity (WHE) Fellowship is designed as a two-year post-residency clinical fellowship, which aims to address health equity for women in low resource settings. WHE Fellows will work and learn in diverse settings with University partners in Kigali, Rwanda, as well as Fort Defiance, Arizona, through the Indian Health Service (IHS). Fellows will receive training in clinical care, research conduct and interpretation, and cultural, ethical, and health systems concepts related to working in low-resource settings in the U.S., and globally.

By the end of two-year fellowship, trainees will have completed the following:

UAB Global Women’s Reproductive Health Fellowship – Birmingham, Alabama

The University of Alabama at Birmingham is seeking applicants with Ob/Gyn background with co-sponsorship by the UAB OBGYN department although future fellows may have background training in Ob/Gyn, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Public Health.

The goal of the global women’s reproductive health 2-year fellowship is to provide high quality patient care, high impact research, and world class educational opportunities for health care providers interested in women’s reproductive and children’s health in low resource settings worldwide. Potential sites include but are not limited to Cameroon, Kenya, South Africa and Zambia or selected rural Alabama locations. Focus areas include obstetrics, gynecology, contraception/family planning, infections, newborn/infant health and reproductive cancers.

The fellowship program will be housed within the UAB Center for Women’s Reproductive Health (CWRH), a university-wide interdisciplinary research center and is led by Alan T.N. Tita, MD, MPH, PhD, Professor and Director, CWRH.

The Departments of Urology and Obstetrics and Gynecology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA are jointly accepting applications for four, 2‐year research fellowship positions in Patient‐Centered Outcomes Research Training in Urologic and Gynecologic Cancers (PCORT UroGynCan). The fellowship will begin July 1.

The UCLA PCORT UroGynCan is looking for postdoctoral researchers across a broad spectrum of disciplines who are committed to an academic or public health career centered on improving care and conducting outcomes research in urologic/gynecologic oncology. This new mentored training program is specifically designed to prepare outstanding postdoctoral scholars for research careers focused on development and uptake of new scientific discoveries and innovations that improve the design, delivery, and outcomes of reproductive system cancer care at the individual, population, and health care system levels.
