How to Become an Educational Partner

The purpose of continuing medical education (CME) is to promote lifelong learning for physicians so that their practices may reflect the best medical care for their patients. ACOG is an accredited provider by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide CME and jointly provide continuing medical education for physicians.

To apply for CME Accreditation for your activity, please keep the following notes in mind:

  • The activity must align with ACOG’s CME Mission Statement.
  • The activity must be relevant to the scope and practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology and other relevant topics.
  • The content of the activity must be educational, not promotional or commercial. 
  • Applications must be submitted four months prior to the start of the activity.
