Quality in Action is a patient safety organization housed under the ACOG Foundation. Grounded in ACOG’s clinical rigor, safety standards, and evidence-based guidelines, Quality in Action is dedicated to improving the quality and safety of obstetric and gynecologic care across the United States.

    • Developing structured protocols and safety action tools for high-risk obstetric and gynecologic scenarios
    • Implementing team communication strategies and emergency readiness
  • Accreditation Standards Alignment
    • Collecting data to meet national benchmarks and regulatory requirements
    • Aligning with national safety standards related to ob-gyn care
  • Data Collection and Analysis
    • Building robust, clinically meaningful data systems tailored to ob-gyn care
    • Conducting case reviews, trend analyses, and outcome tracking to drive improvement

Quality in Action’s work is defined by collaboration, clinical rigor, and a deep commitment to equity in ob-gyn care. By integrating real-time support with the implementation of best practices derived from ACOG clinical guidance, Quality in Action helps institutions deliver safe, more consistent care when it matters most.
